Little Sarah is 3 years old and is the daughter of Kevin, one of my best friends. I have wanted to shoot Kevin’s family for a long time but due to our tight schedules, I could only do it recently. I am really glad that we finally found time to do it
Like most children, Sarah was a little shy when I first came into the house. And like most children she got used to me after awhile and started to show me her toys She first showed me her lego toys then her building blocks. (She even showed me the “correct way” to stack her building blocks) and While looking at her toys, I noticed that she was carrying a small bolster with her most of the time.
Her parents then told me that the bolster was very important to her and she named it “baby bolster” , Sarah called herself “Mommy bolster”. I laughed when I heard that and I knew I had to shoot Sarah with her bolster. This was something important to her and I know this will bring memories back for her when she looks back at the pictures many years from now
